Restaurant Cashier
Duties & Responsibilities
· Ensure safe custody of outlet funds.
· Reconciliation of daily collection against cheques.
· Opening and closing bills and ensure they are settled immediately.
· Balancing/Reconciling outlet cheques against daily collections.
· Ensure that bills are settled using correct mode of payment.
· Running final report at end of every Shift as well as uploading of PDQ before handing over reports to night auditor.
Qualifications and Experience
· At least a C+ and above in KSCE.
· KATC level 2 or equivalent.
· Must be conversant with Fidelio PMS and Micros POS System.
· At least 2 years experience in Restaurant cashiering or Front Office cashiering in a 5 Star Hotel.
Personal Specifications
· Good communication & interpersonal skills, friendly and approachable.
· A team player and adaptable to a multicultural and multiracial working environment.
· High resilience and have impeccable character and with high level honesty.
· Knowledge about the facilities of the hotel and Hilton Hotels worldwide and Hilton Nairobi in particular will be an added advantage.
