Booker Academy Biology Teacher Job in Mumias ~ Kenyan Job Vacancies

Booker Academy is a fully fledged learning institution founded by Mumias Sugar Company Limited and is managed by Mumias Elimu Trust.

An immediate vacancy has arisen for a Biology Teacher in the Secondary Section.

Additionally, the teacher will also be expected to teach one other Science subject.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Teach Biology as a subject to students of Form one (I) to Form four (IV)

· Prepare Form four (IV) candidates effectively for KCSE

· Prepare students in the competitive science congress activities

· Guide and counsel students

· Supervise organized learner activities in school

· Do any other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time

Job Specifications:

· A University degree in Education, specializing in Biology and any other Science (BEd. – Biology/another Science subject)

· Prove of active involvement in Science Congress activities covering Biology projects

· Active participation in SMMASE

· Teaching experience of Biology as a subject for not less than two years

· Good KCSE results in Biology will be an added advantage
