Our client is a leading professional cleaning and allied services company in the hospitality industry. They seek to recruit focused, self driven professionals of high integrity in the Operations department. The following two positions are vacant. This is meant to build capacity as a result of their business expansion nationwide.
Span of Authority: Fumigation Officers
Overall Objective of this Position:
To handle all fumigation and pest control operations.
Duties/Responsibilities
* Responsible for identifying and upgrading pesticides in use.
* Establish and implement pest control SOP’s
* Responsible for general administration of the pest control and fumigation section
* Ensuring quality service provision to all clients
* Responsible for preparing fumigation schedules
* Enhancing health and safety precautions in the course of undertaking fumigation operations
* Preparation of all fumigation quotations
* Supervising staff in the section
* Training of the fumigation officers
* Any other duty allocated to you by Management
Key Performance Indicators (KPI’S)
* Ensuring pesticides used are the best in the market in terms of effectiveness, cost etc
* Ensure pest control SOP’s are in place
* Quality services provided to the clients
* Ensure fumigation schedules are in place
* Ensuring Health & safety precautions are taken in all fumigation operations
* Timely preparation of competitive fumigation quotations
* Well supervised staff
* Properly trained team
Education:
* Minimum ‘O’ level certificate
Professional Training:
* Diploma in Insectology
* Diploma in Business Management will be an added advantage.
Skills:
* Excellent leadership and people management skills..
* Highly developed business and commercial skills.
* Good management skills.
* In-depth knowledge of the cleaning industry practices, legal and regulatory framework governing the industry and exposure in ISO certification processes.
Work Experience:
* Minimum 3 years relevant experience in a recognizable organization
Person Specification:
* High integrity
* Good planning skills
